AEROCOMPACT COMPACTFLAT SN2

Austrian PV racking manufacturer AEROCOMPACT has released a new rail-based mounting system, the COMPACTFLAT SN 2, which is built for large solar panels.

This solution caters to common module sizes, including large-format solar modules measuring up to 2348 mm by 1303 mm (92 in. by 51 in.). The COMPACTFLAT SN 2 complements AEROCOMPACT’s existing bracket-based flat roof system, the COMPACTFLAT S. This modular system offers adapts to different styles of flat roofs and features long side clamping for loading capability. The SN 2 system uses the same components for both south-facing and east/west-facing configurations.

COMPACTFLAT SN 2 is engineered for load-bearing capacity and resilience against extreme weather events. It also comes with multiple options for mechanically attaching the system to the roof. AEROCOMPACT plans to introduce additional variants and accessory options to the SN 2 product by the end of the year.

AEROCOMPACT TSE15

The company will also introduce the SN 2 Q+ at RE+ in Las Vegas this September. The SN 2 Q+ system places modules in an east-west configuration that can accommodate high wind and snow loads. The SN 2 Q+ system uses a shared rail design and can accommodate module sizes up to 1310 mm wide by 2500 mm (51 in. by 98 in.) long.

Then AEROCOMPACT will also showcase TSE15, a mount/rail for metal rooftops compatible with the company’s COMPACTMETAL racking. At an 80 mm (3 in.) height, this short rail offers rear ventilation and accommodates PV optimizers. AEROTOOL, AEROCOMPACT’s proprietary design software, automatically recommens TSE15 when height extension is desired.

AEROCOMPACT will be at the Venetian Sands Level 2, booth 652 at RE+ in Las Vegas, Nevada, from September 11 to 14th.
