May 11 (Renewables Now) – Spain’s Soltec Power Holdings SA (BME:SOL) has secured an order to supply its solar tracking solution for an 83-MW PV project in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, the company said on Wednesday.

The project is owned by Brazilian developers Mercury Renew and Solatio and an entity called Sunrise, according to the tracker maker.

The future plant will be equipped with 1,366 pieces of Soltec’s one-in-portrait (1P) SFOne solar trackers and over 154,000 modules installed at a site spanning around 150 hectares (370.7 acres), Soltec said without giving other details.
